Noah and the Flood

The story starts with God deciding to flood the world in order to rid it of the evils that have taken form throughout the earth over time. However, God warned a man named Noah that the flood was coming. In response, Noah built an ark and stored in it a male and female of every species of animal on the earth. Noah did this in order to save all of the species of the world and give them all a fresh start once the flood had passed. Then, just as God had said, the flood came and washed away everything that wasn't on the ark.

My favorite animal is a dog. Dogs are extremely loyal and have unconditional love for their human masters. Dogs truly are "man's best friend" and will stand next to man until the end.
The bible says that the world will end in fire, which I don't doubt, but I think it might be metaphorical or representative of something else besides fire such as atomic weapons.
