Noah and the Flood (Genesis Chapters 6-9)

In Genesis Chapter 6, The Lord regrets that he has put humans on the earth and wants to "wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them." He tells Noah to build an ark and fill it with his family all of the animals ("seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate"), so he can escape what the Lord is about to do (giant flood). Noah does what he is told and builds the ark, the waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days. God blessed Noah and his sons. God said to Noah- "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth"

One animal that really interests me is a red panda. When I went to the zoo for the first time, my grandpa was so excited to show me the new red panda exhibit. I was so excited. When I was younger, I had an odd obsession with pandas (really not sure why). So when he told me they were just pandas that were red, I was naturally disappointed. But when we went to see them, I couldn't help but be super fascinated. They resemble more of a fox than a panda, but they are still too cute to not love. Also, I don't believe the world will end in fire or ice.
